The Shire of Carnarvon is seeking a highly organised and proactive Infrastructure Services Officer to join our Infrastructure Services Team.

Working closely with the Executive Manager Infrastructure Services, this role provides high-level administrative and executive support across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, programs and operational activities. The position plays a key role in coordinating meetings, managing workflows, preparing professional reports and correspondence, maintaining project tracking systems, and supporting engagement with contractors, government agencies and the community. Through strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills, the Infrastructure Services Officer contributes to the efficient delivery of infrastructure services that support the growth and sustainability of the Carnarvon community.

About You

You’ll bring:

  • Highly developed ability to uphold a values-based approach in the workplace. 
  • Demonstrated experience providing executive or senior administrative support in a complex organisation. 
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate documentation
  • Experience coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes/actions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement in handling sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
