Base Salary$77,723.75 plus superannuation, housing, vehicle and district allowances (if eligible). $3,500 retention bonus payable on completion of 3 years. (Pro-rata for part-time) depending on experience, skills and qualifications.

Support Financial Excellence Where Community Meets Opportunity 

The Shire of Carnarvon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy and supportive Finance Team on a part-time basis. 

This is a six (6) month contract position, with the possibility of extension. 

Working within a team dedicated to Accounts Payable, this role will support the efficient processing of supplier and creditor payments helping to ensure invoices are processes accurately and suppliers are paid on time.

  • This position is offered at Level 4 remuneration $83,517.34 inclusive of Housing and District Allowance (Pro-rata for part-time). Plus superannuation and other employment benefits. 

  • $3,500 retention bonus after 3 years’ service.*
